Delta Squad

Delta Squad, also known as Deltas, was a special military force. The Delta Squad appeared for the first time in the 2005 Star Wars Legends video game. It was a special squad of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Clone war was a galactic civil war between the Confederacy of the independent system and the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars, the squad consisted of four commandos: Unit leader “Boss,” second-in-command “Fixer,” Sev, and “Scorch.” The four members were born in the cloning facilities of Tipoca City. On one occasion, they employed the squad into a battle zone to take control of the territory. brought all the four commandos into canon in the episode guide for the “Witches of the Mist.”

The mission of the Delta Squad

Initially, the Delta Squad was deployed on Genesis at the beginning of the Clone Wars. The squad would also play a vital role in the recapturing of the acclamator-class assault ship. Moreover, it will help in rescuing the fellow unit, Omega Squad. In collaboration with Omega, Delta would participate in the shutting down of the Separatist terror cell. The squad would again prove invaluable to the Republic in the lead up to the war of Kashyyyk, where they defended Wookiee villages from the battle droids. They even destroyed a Recusant-class light destroyer.
The Delta Squad would continue to serve the newly formed Galactic Empire as a part of the 501st Legion’s Imperial Commando Special Unit, replacing Sev.
